VIRTUAL VIEWING PARTY
In 2019, Paramount Pictures and MEAN GIRLS on Broadway partnered with Facebook and Telescope to create the ultimate online viewing party, including a two-hour fully produced livestream of the movie hosted by Tina Fey and Busy Philipps.
During the film, our hosts engaged with fans – playing trivia, answering real-time questions and providing a first look at new content. Viewers could also win prizes throughout the evening, including tickets to see the musical. The giveaways culminated in a grand prize of a walk-on role and trip for 4 to NYC to see the MEAN GIRLS musical.
The event resulted in 8M impressions and received several honors at The 12th Annual Shorty Awards including Winner in Facebook Partnership.
